Why do I need SAN?
SAN (Subject Alternative Name) or Multidomain certificates
Instead of buying multiple certificates for each domain name, you can add domain names in the SAN fields and use a single certificate. This saves your company the cost of purchasing individual certificates, as well as the time spent managing them.
As an example, a single SAN ssl certificate allows to ensure:
- www.mycompany.com
- mycompany.com
- www.mycompany.net
- mail.mycompany.com
