Digital Signing in the Electronic Check Clearing and the Bolivian ACH

The Asociación de Bancos Privados de Bolivia (ASOBAN) needed to modernize its interbank clearing processes to comply with the financial system's security standards. The Electronic Check Clearing and the ACH require that transactions between institutions be verifiable, integral, and non-repudiable. The solution had to integrate with the systems of all member banks and comply with applicable Bolivian regulations.

ASOBAN implemented CertiSur's Digital Signing solution for the Electronic Check Clearing and the ACH. Each interbank transaction is digitally signed with certificates issued under the CertiSur infrastructure, guaranteeing the authenticity, integrity, and non-repudiation of all operations. DigSign enables the validation of signatures applied to each clearing batch, generating auditable records that comply with the requirements of the Banco Central de Bolivia.
